Hi! Welcome to Strange Girl.

I’m Amelia Quint, an astrologer and strategist who’s been telling the future for a living for over a decade. I launched a podcast, Bad Astrologers, and crafted creative and content in-house at Bumble and Co–Star. Before that, my work bridged the magical and the material, appearing in Allure, Vox, Random House’s Hazlitt, Vice, Nylon, Glamour, and more. In Strange Girl, I pull the invisible threads that tie everything together: planetary cycles, societal shifts, cultural moments. It’s my own form of alchemy, turning disparate things into a new substance.

My aim with this letter is to give you the unfiltered, raw form of my work. It’s the home for every wild Notes app idea or contents of a hundred-page research document alike. It’ll be the most personal writing I’ve ever published.

I write for everyone who was a pleasure to have in class, and now has burnout.

I write for everyone who believes in magic, because they’ve seen it work.

I write for everyone who has ever been called “strange”. I hope you know that it’s a compliment.
